Location. The environmentally sustainable Gaia Napa Valley Hotel and Spa is nestled on four acres in American Canyon, Calif., six miles from downtown Napa and the Napa Valley Wine Train. Copia is seven miles from the property.
Hotel Features. Flowing lines, vine covered trellises and a design style evocative of the Southwestern landscape distinguish the hotel's fa�ade and lobby area, which boasts tile flooring, redwood finishings, a fireplace and wrought iron detailing. Recyclable and sustainable materials are used throughout this eco friendly property, including passive solar design and alternative energy sources. Achieving harmony with nature is emphasized at the hotel, which features a koi and swan pond with a waterfall, a garden, an outdoor pool and a courtyard. Pampering treatments are offered at Spa Gaia and a fitness room is available. A business center, conference rooms and complimentary wireless Internet access are provided.
Guestrooms. Offering patios or balconies and separate sitting areas, the 132 contemporary guestrooms contain mahogany finished and wicker furniture, leather armchairs and d�cor in earth tone of cream, tan and chocolate brown. Bedding features pillowtop mattresses and 300 thread count Egyptian cotton sheets. Bathrooms offer complimentary toiletries. Rooms are equipped with high definition flat screen televisions. Complimentary wireless Internet access is available. Rooms include refrigerators, microwave ovens and coffeemakers. Pets are not permitted.
Expert Tip. This energy efficient property features a green roof which provides shading, cooling and insulation for the building. Excess solar power generated by mounted panels is offered to the power company in a buy back program.
